Newness

Iron Man 2 is dated! Man, I'm already thinking about 2010.

More later!

I Wanna Know!

Whoa.
Just finished some design work for Idiro Technologies. They do a lot of work for high-profile mobile companies (Vodafone, O2, etc.) across Europe, and much of their work is based on graph theory, a sub-branch of mathematics (very nostalgic for me, having studied the topic before).

Seen a grip of movies recently, including Iron Man twice; pristine acting, and an excellent cast list (Stay for the credits!). The interfaces in Stark's workroom were most impressive to me, and very much something within the realm of possibility. Also walked out on two movies in as many weeks. A lot trash out there.

Mildred Loving died last Friday. She was a pioneer in interracial marriage in the States. Diversity has always been major on my heart, so I definitely want to try to cop the book.

The way of the future...

Yesterday evening marked the first day of the Jewish Passover. What an monumental (and intimate) event it was to commemorate with the Lord; He blessed me amazingly. To have heard an account of how He is permeating the lives of others close to me, and then to have been able to spend time with Him last night was really otherworldly. I see Him actively making provision for me in ways too abundant to enumerate. It is good to be completely sold-out for G-d; this is what I yearn for.

I watched "The Aviator" in its entirety for the first time last night. I found extreme parallels between the person of Howard Hughes and myself, and can't help but wonder if certain shades of my being await a similar fate.

Hughes allegedly watched this film over 150 times, and I find myself intrigued by the allure it held over him:

Auggghhhh!

Terrence Howard is an amazing actor, and arguably my favorite, but what really got me on this one was the fact that lack of a solid establishment of the film's premise. That the protagonist's (Hayden Christensen) anesthesia failed (leaving him was awake, completely paralyzed, and yet still able to feel pain) during his entire heart surgery was only vaguely explained, meant that one could have walked into the film not knowing this and found Christensen's dialog quite comical. To hear him begging, "No, no, stop - auggghhhh!" throughout his operation, yet see in the closeups of his face that not a muscle moves, well, hahahaha. Brilliant.

Now, on a different topic (and for those unaware) All City is, to the best of my knowledge, the only graffiti shop in all of Dublin (Ireland?), and quite a fine one at that. I've been able to hop in there a few times recently, and always love the atmosphere. While small, it has just about everything one could ask for. If you're an art-head and are in the city (it's located in Temple Bar), it's a must-visit.

I'd rather waste my time on a figment of her perfection than the reality of -... hey, my keyboard works!

Drake & Josh is always on Nickelodeon here in Ireland, so I've become a fan. Clean, wholesome, honest, funny... how could I not love it? Well, I saw that D&R co-star Josh Peck was in the new film, 'Drillbit Taylor', so...

It was definitely funny. Didn't offer anything new, but there were some good laughs and very awkward one-liners (like when one of the co-stars is told by his stepfather, "...and put some posters of chicks up on these walls. It's like a geek paradise in here!"). Hahahaha. It was... worth the money.

...and this is why "When I Am God" is on top of my summer 'To Buy' list...

"It's like a house of mirrors!"

People are the most important thing in life. Christ knew this. How easily I forget.

ついに、今夜「Juno」を見ました。

ようこそ。This page has been oft-planned and remains relatively unpolished, but at least now the Play-Doh is out of the can. We'll go from here. これから。。。

Juno. It was good to finally see this one. Spoke to me of thoughts past. Nostalgic.

Lots of amazing stuff is on my plate right now... Steadily working through projects, planning the summer itinerary, finalizing deals for some new clients. When pieces are finalized, they'll be up here first.

For those not already aware, I'm right in the middle of a collaborative (and pretty comprehensive) examination of the Dublin (Ireland) graffiti scene, along with one of my Irish associates. Busyness is inevitable, but you can catch our occasional insights here.

The company website should be up closer towards summer time. A lot of the graphic work is nearing completion (It's tough going as a one-man team!), and I'm in the process of narrowing down some of the business details. Praise G-d for His faithfulness and mercy in this (rapidly) concluding season!
